We are so proud of the Inauguration Benefit Concert that we organized. Amazing musicians from all around the Bay Area joined Frequency 49 in a chamber music concert on January 20 at 7pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in San Francisco. All proceeds were donated to the ACLU.

Happy New Year! We are thrilled to have been invited back to Old First Church for a concert on January 29. It will feature some rarely-heard gems by Vladimir Dukelsky (better known as jazz music’s Vernon Duke) and William Grant Still, as well as Barber’s lush “Summer Music” and Aaron Copland’s “Duo for flute and piano.” Check out our Calendar page for more info.

A great big thank you to everyone who came out to hear us at Old First Concerts! And especially to Mack McCray and Sarah Bonomo, our guests extraordinaires. They were truly amazing. Once we get the sound files next week, you can expect some highlights on our Media page- check back soon!
And, the terrific news is that we were invited immediately after the concert to return to the Series for the 2015-16 season! As you can tell by the all the exclamation points, we are ecstatic!
One concertgoer wrote: “Thank you so much for the lovely concert last night! You all are amazing and it was so well choreographed…from each musician’s stage presence, to the organization of songs, you all played beautifully together and the theme ‘Free Play’…the gentleman behind us even had the book and was telling us about it. What a great idea! Also the programs were very helpful and informative. I could go on….:) it was just great!”
